County confirms 8 more covid-19 cases 08-25-2020

Shasta County public health officials confirmed eight more cases of the coronavirus on Monday, according to an announcement sent Tuesday afternoon.

That brings the total number of cases in the county, confirmed since January, to 553.

The new patients included two people who reported no symptoms.

One new patient was hospitalized, bringing the total number of people in the hospital to three. Two are in the ICU.
