Coronavirus update: 3 more people in Shasta County die of covid; 20 deaths this week 11/18/2021

COVID-19 case numbers and hospitalizations are dropping after Shasta County dealt with a wave of outbreak from August into October.

Shasta County Public Health is reporting high numbers of COVID-19 fatalities in November as the agency wraps up investigations on those who died during the spike in spread. Public Health tests people on whose death certificate a doctor or coroner wrote COVID-19 as the cause of death.
