Barbershops and hair salons in most California counties are allowed to reopen under certain restrictions following an announcement Tuesday by Gov. Gavin Newsom.

Shasta County posted guidelines on its website for barbers, hair stylists and customers to follow under COVID-19 guidelines.

Among the rules are requirements that customers and workers have to wear masks during haircuts and other close-contact services.
