Coronavirus live updates: What we know Wednesday about covid-19 in North State 04-01-2020

As of Wednesday morning, seven Shasta County residents have tested positive for COVID-19. The newest patient, public health officials said Tuesday evening, is a woman in her 50s who had close contact with the county's fifth patient — a man in his 80s who remains isolated at a Redding hospital after he tested positive Sunday.
