Coronavirus live updates: What we know Thursday about covid-19 in the North State 05-28-2020

Published May 29, 2020

Shasta County recorded its 37th confirmed case of coronavirus late Wednesday.

The patient, a man in his 70s, is the latest in a handful of asymptomatic carriers of the virus in the county, officials said.

Meanwhile, it's been over two weeks since the controversial Cottonwood rodeo, but Shasta County health officials say it's still too early to say the event didn't lead to any spread — and they might not ever know.
