Coronavirus in Shasta County: Preparations underway for field medical station 04-01-2020

Progress is being made on establishing a temporary field hospital for Shasta County during the coronavirus crisis.

Gov. Gavin Newsom mentioned Shasta County during his noontime address Tuesday when he provided updates on California's response to COVID-19

"We have identified all eight field medical stations and their sites from Shasta to Butte County to San Diego to Contra Costa County to Riverside to San Mateo County to Santa Clara and L.A. County," Newsom said.
