Coronavirus in Shasta County: Man in his 40’s is 195th covid-19 death 03/18/2021

A Shasta County man in his 40s has become the third youngest resident to die from COVID-19.

Local health officials confirmed his death in their coronavirus report on Thursday.

The man is the 195th COVID-19 death in the county since the outbreak of the pandemic last March. The youngest residents to die from the disease were a woman and a man, who were both in their 30s, according to the local data.
