Coronavirus in Shasta County: Covid-19 cases fall to lowest levels since July 2021 03/23/2022

Published March 25, 2022

Over the past seven days, COVID-19 cases in Shasta County dropped to some of the lowest levels seen since July 2021.

That's based on the percentage of tests sent to state labs that came back positive, Shasta County Public Health said on Wednesday.

The county's seven-day test positivity rate from March 16 to Tuesday dropped to 1%, according to the California Department of Public Health data. That's down from 3.8% a month ago on Feb. 21-27.
