8 covid-19 deaths reported in Shasta County Tuesday, 13 total in local counties 10/19/2021

Eight COVID-19 deaths were reported and 91 new cases on Tuesday in Shasta County, according to the Shasta County Health and Human Services.

There was one woman in her 50s, a man and a woman in their 60s, two men in their 70s, two men in their 80s and a woman over the age of 89.

There are now 56 people in the hospital in Shasta County and nine are in ICU.
