7 new covid-19 deaths reported in Shasta County Tuesday, 35 new cases 11/30/2021

Shasta County Health and Human Services (SCHHS) reported seven new COVID-19 deaths on Tuesday.

SCHHS reported a woman in her 50s, a woman in her 60s, two men in their 70s, a woman in her 70s, a woman in her 80s and a woman over the age of 89 all died from COVID-19.

According to SCHHS, it can take days and even weeks to confirm a COVID-19 death.

Seventeen people are in ICU and 58 are hospitalized in Shasta County. There are 143 active cases.

There were 35 new cases reported on Tuesday.
