7 covid-19 related deaths reported in Shasta County Wednesday, 17 this week 11/17/2021

Seven more COVID-19 deaths were reported in Shasta County on Wednesday, according to the Shasta County Health and Human Services.

SCHHS said the people who died were a man and two women in their 60s, two men and one woman in their 80s and a woman over the age of 89.

Seventeen COVID-19 deaths have been reported in Shasta County since Monday.

SCHHS says it can take several days or weeks after the person died to report COVID-related deaths.
