6 charts showing Shasta County’s covid-19 situation 02/03/2021

Nearly a year into the COVID-19 pandemic, the virus continues to spread in Shasta County. More than 10,000 people have tested positive for coronavirus in the county and 153 have been reported dead by county health officials.

Heading into February, local hospitalizations and new cases are declining after holiday spikes, according to data provided by the Shasta County Health and Human Services Agency and the California Department of Public Health.
