3 pm Monday: 2 new covid-19 deaths reported in Butte County 07-27-2020

Butte County reported 2 new deaths from Coronavirus over the weekend. The total number of deaths is now 7. 62 new cases were reported for a total of 820. Most of the cases are being reported in Chico. The county was placed on the state watch list last week. After reporting a new one day record on Friday, Shasta County has broken that record with another 16 cases, for a total of 311.
