21 new cases reported in Shasta County 08-03-2020

Shasta County reported 21 new cases of COVID-19 over the weekend for a total of 390. 10 cases were confirmed Saturday and 11 on Sunday. The cases range in age from a teenage boy to a man in his 70s. 15 of them were showing symptoms. The 9th death was reported on Wednesday. There are 58 active cases. 5 people are hospitalized, three of them in intensive care. 293 people are quarantined due to possible exposure.
