17 new covid-19 cases in Butte, 7 new cases in Shasta County 08-05-2020

Public Health officials are reporting new COVID-19 cases in Butte and Shasta counties.

Shasta County Health officials reported seven new virus cases. 49 of these cases are active, six people are hospitalized, and three are in the ICU.

In Shasta County, 23,189 total tests have been conducted and 22,785 returned negative.
