11 AM Tuesday: 1st case of community transmission reported in Shasta County 03-31-2020

Shasta County Health & Human Services Agency has reported the 1st known case of community spread of COVID-19. After investigation it is believed that the Shasta County man in his 80’s who was diagnosed with COVID-19 over the weekend was infected through community transmission and not from traveling.
