Outside the Woodlands

The Woodlands II - Expanding Affordable Housing in Shasta County

In 2019, HHSA worked with its community partners to add much-needed affordable housing to our community. 'The Woodlands II' expansion will add an additional 20 apartments to the original 55-unit affordable housing complex. When complete, 29 of the 75 units will be occupied by people living with severe and persistent mental illness or families of children with serious emotional disturbance, all of whom were either homeless or at risk of homelessness.
