*2019 Alzheimer’s Association’s Alzheimer’s Disease Facts and Figures

Memory screenings are an important part of our health as we age. There is no cure for Alzheimer’s disease, but catching it early can improve our quality of life. There are medications and lifestyle changes that may help in the early stages of memory loss. Talk to your doctor about a memory screening if you:

  • Worry about memory loss
  • Have any warning signs of dementia
  • Your family and friends have noticed changes in you
  • You believe you are at risk due to a family history of Alzheimer's disease or a related illness.

You can receive a memory screening even if you have no symptoms or concerns. Memory screenings are used to compare your current memory to future screenings. Below are local organizations where you can ask about getting a memory screening.
