Matt Sprenger moved back to Anderson in October of 2014 after previously living there from 2006 to 2009. After spending his early childhood in Montana, he said he loves the mild winters here as well as the medical care he’s been able to receive. He currently volunteers at Haven Humane Society, working with cats and learning to train dogs.
Since the fall of 2015, Matt has served as a Brave Faces advocate through the Stand Against Stigma campaign. As an advocate, he speaks to community groups and classes about how he survived a suicide attempt as a teenager and his journey to find wellness since then. His goal is to continue to do speeches, help people and prevent suicide deaths by
sharing his story.
