Shasta County - Terry Mill Road approximately one-half mile east of State Route 299 near the town of Round Mountain (refer to Figure 1).

TYPES OF WASTE
ACCEPTED
This transfer station accepts general municipal waste only. Liquid wastes, special wastes, and hazardous wastes are prohibited.
CAPACITY 20 tons per day.
PLANNED FACILITY
EXPANSIONS
A medium-term diversion objective (1996-2000) of the Source Reduction and Recycling Element (SRRE) recommends that drop-off containers for yard waste be maintained at the transfer station.

DIVERSION RATE
Compartmentalized drop-off bins are provided at the transfer station for recyclable materials such as glass, aluminum, tin, and newspaper. Approximately 4.2% (5.7 tons) of the waste received at the transfer station is currently diverted.
