This transfer station accepts general municipal waste only. Liquid wastes, special wastes, and hazardous wastes are prohibited.
CAPACITY 20 tons per day.

EXPANSIONS
A medium-term diversion objective (1996-2000) of the Source Reduction and Recycling Element (SRRE) recommends that drop-off containers for yard waste be maintained at the transfer station.

RATE
Compartmentalized drop-off bins are provided at the transfer station for recyclable materials such as glass, aluminum, tin and newspaper. Scrap metal is also recovered at the site. Approximately 4.7% (73.6 tons) of the waste received at the transfer station is currently diverted, 50 tons of which is scrap metal.
