| In 2007, California voters approved Proposition 1B, authorizing $19 billion worth of bonds to finance transportation improvements throughout the state. The package included $1 billion for county roads. Shasta County will receive about 1% of these funds ($9.8 million). | ||||
| This year, the legislature has appropriated $400 million of the County funds. Shasta County's share is about $3.9 million. | ||||
