Who do I contact to report child or elder abuse?
The child abuse reporting hotline, 225-5144, provides 24 hours a day, seven days a week, immediate in-person response to reports of suspected abuse, neglict, or exploitation of a child.
To report elder abuse, call 225-5798. The Adult Protective Services (APS) program is designed to protect dependent adults (18-64 years of age) and senior (65 and older). APS provides referral services on reports of elder or dependent adult abuse, neglect, exploitation, and abandonment.
