Linda Hartman was elected to the Board of Supervisors in 2004.  When the communities of Summit City, Central Valley, Project City, and Pine Grove incorporated to form the City of Shasta Lake in 1993, Linda was elected to the first City Council.  She was elected three times to the City Council and served twice as Mayor.

As a family, the Hartmans are active in the Redding Regional Chapter of Safari Club International, Shasta Arabian Horse Association, Shasta Cascade Houndsmen, and they enjoy working on political and non-profit organizations' fund raising events.
