Foster Youth Education Services

The Foster Youth Services (FYS) Program of the Shasta County Office of Education provides services for each Shasta County youth placed in a Foster/group home:

- Develops and maintains an "Educational Passport"

- Encourages & promotes educational success of each youth

- Participates in LINCS team services

- Identifies and networks resources

- Works closely with Independent Living Program (ILS) for Youth emancipation readiness
