Building fees are adjusted annually in January based on "The Consumer Price Index (CPI) for All Urban Consumers (CPI-U) for the U.S. City Average for All Items, 1982-84=100."
Mobile Homes
a. Installation
Same as established by the Department of Housing and Community Development as shown in the current edition of the California Administrative Code.
b. Utilities - $62.36
Bridges
Actual cost for performing all inspection work which includes plan review.
Swimming Pools, Spas, etc.
Installation fee shall be as established in the Current Edition of the UBC, including Plan Review Fee. Valuation shall be based upon contract prices.
RE-ISSUE PERMIT FEE
$78.270 or fifty percent (50%) of the original permit fee, not including Plan Review Fee, whichever is greater.
APPLICATION FILING AND PLAN REVIEW FEE (non-refundable if plan review has commenced)
Buildings
Sixty-five percent (65%) of Basic Building permit fee with a minimum fee of $39.65.
Twenty-five percent (25%) of Basic Building permit fee for repetitive built homes within the same subdivision provided the permit is issued prior to any code or other regulation changes.
Mobile Homes
Utilities - $31.17
Installation - $31.17
Bridges
A deposit, as determined by the Director of Public Works, based upon the estimated cost of the project.
Swimming Pools, Spas, etc.
Sixty-five percent (65%) of the basic permit fee for the initial plan review for a specific pool. with the subsequent plan review for the same pool reduced to $39.65.
The reduction in fee shall apply only if no additional plan reviews are required, due to code or regulation changes or specific or special engineering to meet specific requirements.
ELECTRICAL PERMIT FEES
Fees apply to all single and multifamily dwellings, accessory buildings and commercial buildings. These fees include the electrical service and all interior wiring. All areas are based on gross square footage.

Commercial Buildings:
Use the same basic, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing tables as other construction except, when the building contract price is used for Building Permit valuation purposes, then the contract price for electrical fees will also be used. The fee shall be as established in the Current Edition of UBC.
