Open space enhances property values; increases municipal revenues; and attracts businesses, homebuyers and workers. The goal for the Shasta County Parks, Trails, and Open Space Plan is to provide a framework to coordinate efforts to provide quality parks trails and open space opportunities for the residents of Shasta County and define the County’s role in the creation of those opportunities.
